I did this video to raise awareness of a petition of a movement directed at Sega, to increase their PC support by porting some of their back-catalogue to PC. With the recent success of Platinum Games' Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PC version, I believe there's a good market for more of these action games.
The petition brings these 3 games to attention because the difficulty/costs of developing these ports is pretty simple. Of course we'd love extended support afterwards, but the games chosen are probably the ones likely to succeed.
The existence of PC versions is pretty important for the sake of preservation and community interaction. Digital sales are strong even for old/niche games after a lot of time, and if modding takes off, their lifespan is extended a lot. Not only it can be a commercial success and extra source of revenue for Sega, it also increases their audience of their IPs in the case of any possible sequels or new IPs from these developers.
All the great mods for Sonic Generations across these 2 years should show how important can a simple PC port be. Even if no modding support was implemented, the community could still research on their own and develop all the tools as necessary.
