Net#work BBDO's knack for advertising through mirth has once again resulted in a comic ad campaign that's making waves, this time for clients Destiny and Destiny Man magazines.
The television commercials depict upwardly mobile South Africans in social settings, with the comedy provided by fish-out-of-water characters who are not only socially inept, they're embarrassingly ignorant -- and will go to any lengths to try and fit in. These, clearly, are not readers of Destiny and Destiny Man!
Net#work BBDO was tasked to create TV ads for the two Media24/Ndalo Media magazine titles that would resonate with their target market and increase their average monthly sales. The agency was tasked with positioning the magazines as offering content to current and potential readers.
