Republicans who used to support Joe Arpaio are now getting behind Mike Stauffer for Sheriff
Let's face it, there are too many Republicans who simply will not vote for a candidate who has a (D) beside their name. Bob Long is a 50 year Republican who like some things Arpaio stood for, but also believes it is time for Arpaio to retire.

Bob supports former Republican -- now Independent candidate Mike Stauffer for Maricopa County sheriff.

The demographics in Maricopa County are as follows:

36% registered Republicans voters

35% registered Independents voters

29% registered Democratic voters

Things have changed since 2008. Independents now make up the 2nd largest party in Maricopa County and the Democratic Party has lost approximately 52,000 registered Democratic voters.

Mike Stauffer was the first candidate to put his hat into this race and is the only one with the qualifications to beat Arpaio. Stauffer has no skeletons in his closet unlike Paul Penzone who has a domestic violence history and Glendale Police Report within his background.

See the below video on why Arizona Republican voter is supporting Stauffer.
