I just bought a Danelectro French Toast octave/fuzz to see if I'd even like having an octavia before I forked over the cash for a high end unit. Turns out this cheap hunk of plastic sounds pretty awesome. I figured I'd post a video to show you don't have to blow a ton of money on a name brand pedal to get a solid octavia sound...of course the plastic housing kind of sucks but making a steel one is pretty easy..I did it!
