I've been messing with Mountain Lion since it came out and I've updated my VMware Image accordingly. Everything should work (With the exception of sound and resolution, but they can be added separately).

I have an error which says: The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine.

When i get to the apple logo i get a little message: The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine. Then it closes.

you have to enable it in your bios setting, had the same problem on my laptop when starting you pc, before windows (or linux) starts loading keep pressing f12, del or f2 will get you in your bios menu, search for someting like "intel virtualization" or something like that and set it to enabled using arrow keys and then search for "save and quit" and select that, after that you should have no more messages in vmware about VT-disabled
