This video is made up of footage from Auckland Action Against Poverty's Block Party protest outside the New Zealand National Party's ball, which was held on the 5th of April, 2014.

In New Zealand there are 285,000 children living in poverty, and 1 in 120 people are homeless. Meanwhile our masters sup on Dom Perignon and live lives of luxury. Our austerity is their prosperity.

Auckland Action Against Poverty organises direct action, protest, beneficiary advocacy, and education, to fight against the poverty of capitalism.

The video features footage of the New Zealand Music Award winning band Street Chant performing at the Block Party, set to their cover of Blam Blam Blam's song 'There Is No Depression In New Zealand'.
