Hi guys, I'm Phillipa from Fit College,
Many of you may, or may not take a multivitamin. Lots of people think they are crucial for health but are they really or are they're a bit of a waste of money? Most people get all the vitamins and minerals they need from their diet. If you're eating a range of foods then you probably are too. If you do choose to take a multivitamin, just be aware that they are high doses of vitamins. so with water soluble ones like your vitamins B and C, these are fine. If you're taking an excess vitamins you'll just pee these ones out. It does make for some pretty expensive urine if you're buying really expensive multivitamins.
With your fat soluble vitamins like vitamins A, D and K, you need to be a little bit more conscious. These can be stored in your body for long periods of time and they can actually build up to toxic doses, they can be carcinogenic or just have pre pretty horrible side effects. So beware, be wary when you take your multivitamin.
Thanks for watching, have a great day.
