Many major fast food restaurants currently advertising on television have added hooks to their current run of commercials. The lure is their fish sandwiches. "Kentucky Afield" is getting in on the act. The only difference is that host Tim Farmer hopes you'll catch your own and prepare it with the show's special sweet batter recipe. The flavor is guaranteed to sway even the most skeptical skipper.

REALLY GOOD FRIED FISH, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE SAUCE TO EAT. IF YA HAVE TO HIDE THE FIRMNESS AND CRISPY BATTER TASTE WITH SAUCE,,, (THE FISH IS NOT WORTH EATING)

That's my motto - you'd be crazy not to eat it.

Lol pond or lake fish are defiantly way better tasting than store bought!

Camera man almost caught an elbow at the end trying to double dip. Good thing his bro code radar kicked in!

Nice recipe. I'll try it next time. I think the Old Bay adds a large amount of flavor all by itself. I'm not sure of the benefit of peanut oil over olive.
