Project OutReach is a four-day community service program for incoming freshmen at New York University. Held immediately prior to Welcome Week, Project OutReach consists of workshops, fun activities and a variety of volunteering projects around New York City. Previous service projects include delivering hot meals in the West Village, hosting a carnival for the families of children with serious medical conditions, and cleaning and painting a city park.

Project OutReach will assist new NYU students in the transition into college and prepares them for immediate involvement in community and university leadership. Through Project OutReach, participants will discover the great individual and collective impact they can have on their new community, meet some of their best friends, develop leadership skills, and explore their exciting new environment.
