CCM-News, Detroit. Living large. It's the American way of life. Especially when it comes to our pickup trucks. At the 2012 Detroit Auto Show the trend once again is: Bigger, faster, more powerful. For years, manufacturers have been one-upping each other in an ever-escalating war of features and claims.
But with higher gas prices and a return to urban life after years in the suburban wilderness, is it possible that Americans might be ready to look at the functionality of a flatbed and the size of a sub-mini? While there's still plenty of evidence at the Detroit Auto Show that size matters, there's at least one company that's bucking the trend.
