"Mais Você" is a brazilian TV program. A mix of Oprah with cooking. It's very good, and always discusses very intriguing themes.

This time, Ana Maria Braga discusses Spiritism and Psychography, a practice in which spirits write through the help of a medium. It is very common in Brazil and known around the world, but not so much so in the USA.

One of the best known psychographic mediums in the world was the brazilian Chico Xavier. He wrote, with the direct help of evolved and educated spirits, more than 400 books, going from the most beautiful poetry to the most complicated scientific treatises. Chico's books sold millions of copies, but he always donated all proceeds to charity, and died a poor man, but with hundreds of thousands of friends and admirers in Brazil and around the world.

Chico is respected even amongst some atheists, who simply cannot explain how he wrote more than 400 high quality books without having completed his schooling.

He also wrote more than 10 thousand letters, to people who visited him. The letters were always authored by dead loved ones of those who were visiting, and always gave ample evidence and proof that they were really who they said they were, including the signature (always very similar to that of the deceased), sometimes the handwriting, always giving personal details that only the people knew, or mentioning private nicknames that Chico had no way of knowing.

All those who received a letter written by Chico, went away believing that life goes on after death.

In Brazil, Chico Xavier is loved, admired and respected for his life dedicated to charity.
