Elephants Crash Pool Party

On a recent visit to the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, the pool of the house we were staying in was often half empty in the mornings. That afternoon we found out why!!

The region was in the grip of a severe drought and many of the watering holes had dried up. On this particular day it was 41 degrees C in the shade.

Shortly before this, we were all cooling down in the pool enjoying a sundowner when we forced to vacate. Not something you see everyday. Enjoy!!
