"Gonna Be An Engineer" by Peggy Seeger.
Animation by Ken Wong.

I really like this song, and was compelled to bring some visual life to it.

Note 1: This is not an authorized video.

Note 2: This is going to sound weird, but I chose to make the characters in this video white because when I listen to this song I picture a stereotypical 1950s Hollywood family. Also Peggy Seeger is white, and so is Peggy Olson from Mad Men. (If you're a Mad Men fan, you'll immediately pick up on the connections between this song and the show.) The only reason I mention this is because I think this is a powerful song and I don't want the universal appeal of its message to be constrained to a single visual depiction. This note may seem unnecessary, but to the folks who evaluate media representation, I hope this helps you understand my thoughts.

Note 3: Enough thinking - ENJOY this wonderful song!
