Learn the features and benefits of CARDONE Select Variable Valve Timing Solenoids, and watch a basic installation on a Chevy Equinox
Instructions: 1) Remove the vehicle's airbox (1:27) 2) Remove the oil cap from the intake manifold cover (1:29) 3) Remove the intake manifold cover (1:36) 4) Before removing the solenoid, clean the surrounding area using an aerosol cleaner along with shop air to prevent dirt from falling into the engine (1:40) 5) Remove the VVT Solenoid connector (1:48) 6) Remove the VVT mounting bolt (1:50) 7) Remove the VVT solenoid (1:53) 8) Lubricate the new o-ring (1:57) 9) Install the new VVT solenoid (2:00) 10) Install and tighten the mounting bolt (2:04) 11) Install the VVT solenoid connector (2:07) 12) Install the intake manifold cover (2:10) 13) Install the oil cap (2:12) 14) Install the airbox (2:16) 15) Scan the vehicle for proper operation (2:24)
