Show Us YOUR Shindig! #ShindigShuffle

As part of the Ozark Mountain Shindig - A Springtastic Celebration the original song "Shindig Shuffle" was written, performed, and produced by the Hughes Brothers & Family as well as the Cole Family. Along with the song, they created a special dance number that includes moves called the shindig, the jig, and more. Various shows, individuals, and businesses participated in the making of the video which was sponsored by the Vacation Channel and produced and co-directed by Jason Hughes.

We wanted to create a unique combination of musical genres that really reflects the dynamic and diverse nature of Branson's musical scene while still paying homage to the musical roots of the Ozarks.

Mama Lena Hughes was the inspiration to create a "Shindig Shuffle" song and dance. As the matriarch of the "World's Largest Performing Family" she inspired her family and the rest of us to get Shindiggity.

The Hughes Family performers include vocalist Jesse, vocalist & violin Kristina, drummer Jacob, dancer Derek Hughes, and the entire family of performers including Marty, Jason, Ryan, Adam, and Andy Hughes with their wives and children. Currently the entire family stars in two shows in Branson - from January through October they are in "it"...little word...Big SHOW! and the Hughes Brothers Christmas Show in November and December.

The Cole siblings (Michael, Avery, & Nadia) are all vocalists on the "Shindig Shuffle" song and contributed to the creation of the music and dance. Michael, Avery, & Nadia Cole are also known as the Voices of Glory and are famous for their performances on America's Got Talent where they were in the top 5 during their season. While traveling all over the world to perform, their home base is Branson where they star in the show the co-produced, "Ayo".

The band in the video consists of Timothy Dutton on banjo, Nathan Agdeppa on fiddle, Ray Harris on keys, Steve Harber on guitar, and Jared Lee on bass.

"Lyle the Janitor" is played by Dallen Gettling.

Other shows and stars participating in the video are The Dutton's (famous for also being on America's Got Talent Top 10 and having their own theater and show in Branson); the Acrobats of China featuring the New Shanghai Circus (with their own theater and show in Branson); 70s Music Celebration! starring Barry Williams a/k/a Greg Brady from the TV show; Barbara Fairchild of "Teddy Bear" fame and her husband Roy Morris who have their own show in Branson; wait staff and customers of the Golden Corral Branson; Kayak Branson; Andy's Custard; Purple Heart Recipients; Kanakuk Kamp Counselors; Baldknobbers Jamboree; Buck Trent Country Music Show, and more.
