When we work in a team situation, each member must be interdependent. Success of the team is based on every member relying on other members' expertise, experience, and energy to achieve the mutual goals. Sometimes discussion can circle round and round for periods of time. Making decisions is not easy. We want to engage everyone in the decision making process but may lack the tools to support the process in an open yet constructive way. This webinar will focus the process of decision making, an expertise that is valuable as teams work together. There are lots of participatory activities to choose from as you move through the decision making process of gathering ideas and narrowing those ideas to creating a plan of action based on the team decision. Martha Walker will be with us sharing a piece of her successful program, Leading from any Chair. Knowing the skills of facilitating a group decision making process is valuable as you work with others in teams.
