This dance makes a pattern that is not flush to the pole, but spins a web in mid-air, hence the name. Ideally the girls have to weave in and out at exactly the same time as each other. The boys just stand 3 or 4 feet away from the pole, with the ribbon tight over their right shoulder. This is a favourite for the girls, as it is a challenge.
