Bob and I went out on Mille Lacs on June 17-18. Again we had rainy weather most of the time. Friday night rained and we had lots of lightening so I figured the fishing would be poor on Saturday. Boy was I wrong. We had a great day. We used bottom bouncers with 4-8ft leaders and #6 size hooks. I also tried a floating rapala that worked well too. We trolled as slow as possible with the electric motor. The largest fish were 27.5 inch, 25inch, 22inch. We had many fish at or under 18inches so we were able to keep some too. I thought the rock was one in a thousand until I saw two other boats do the same thing in the next few hours. It's a bit humbling when a bunch of boats are watching you real in a fish and all you got to show for it is a rock......
