This video provides a synopsis of the City of Faribault’s efforts to reduce their vulnerability to the impacts of climate change and increase their resiliency. The Faribault Public Works Department used EPA’s Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT) to help identify and evaluate potential impacts of climate change on their utility and to develop adaptive options to address these impacts. Faribault is especially concerned with flooding from intense precipitation events and its effects on their wastewater treatment system.
