This song and video was made during the first two weeks in October 2012 as a spontaneous creative and political act. The song was independently written and recorded by Jose Conde. The video was directed, shot, and edited by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Nicole Betancourt.
"On October 13th we met on the streets of Harlem, New York with a group of friends to shoot the video on 2 small camcorders. Strangers on the street joined in and danced with us! It was an incredibly fun and inspiring day." - Jose
"As artists, the best way that we can participate in the democratic process is through our craft. We made this video because we couldn't be passive in an election that will have such a huge impact on human rights, the arts, and the environment." - Nicole
In 2008 Conde and Betancourt teamed up to create the song and video Respondele a Obama which quickly went viral.
