Establishing Best Practices for Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia Therapy: A Workshop Symposium for the Advanced Practice Oncology Nurse
Expert faculty will discuss key considerations related to pathogenesis, genetic mutations, diagnostics, novel agents in clinical trials, emerging front-line therapeutic agents, disease monitoring recommendations, and how such factors influence CML treatment planning. A roundtable discussion using real-life patient case scenarios will follow to encourage peer-to-peer learning on best practices in choosing front-line treatment options, disease response monitoring, and management of treatment-related adverse reactions. An additional brief presentation and workshop will focus on medication adherence strategies where participants can share their experiences.
Review a downloadable slide deck by Mollie E. Moran, MSN, CNP, AOCNP®, covering the most clinically relevant new data reported from Establishing Best Practices for CML Therapy: A Workshop Symposium for the Advanced Practice Oncology Nurse.
