Since 1987, the Arizona Game & Fish Department has been monitoring the status of the humpback chub by capturing, tagging and releasing this endangered native fish using 13 hoop nets strategically placed in the Little Colorado River within 1,200 meters of its confluence with the main stem Colorado River. Follow the researchers as they set their nets and catch their fish during the first several days of the 2013 spring survey. This video was created by the Information Branch of the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Video producer: David Majure
