Part I of the High Impact HIV Prevention: What Does it Really Mean? Webinar Series

In response to the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), released in July 2010, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently framing a new approach to HIV prevention in the US. This one-hour webinar will explain the background of this new approach and help define what makes an intervention "high-impact". Topics will include: an overview of the NHAS priorities for HIV prevention, current knowledge of effective HIV prevention, considerations for increasing the impact of HIV prevention, and proven High Impact HIV Prevention Interventions, including a more in-depth look at "prevention with positives" interventions. The webinar will be accompanied by a written Information Sheet.
