Youtube has apparently dropped the ban hammer down on the next movie I wanted to do, and all my test videos with the songs are getting deleted, so I need more time to put together a replacement set. Which means more Scrubs! And I think I'll take this time to talk a little about shipping.

See, I don't believe that this video counts as a ship. While Rainbow and AJ are married and talking about their relationship, this isn't the focus. The song isn't about romance, they aren't the main characters of the story, and it just doesn't have the same feel as Can You Feel the Love Tonight. And this, in my mind at least, is the deciding difference between a "pairing" and a "ship". A pairing is when two ponies are in love in the story, and a shipping is when two ponies are in love in the song.

Making as many videos as I do, especially Disney, where boy meets girl is every single movie, some castings are inevitable. And while I may be forced because of personality to make the same "pairings" several times, I try my best to never repeat a "shipping". I am trying my best to keep up a variety. Not every movie has a song about falling in love, and those I don't COUNT as an official ship.

So let's all keep a clear head and don't complain too much about hating a pairing, OK? If I haven't done the ship you want, that's because I'm saving it for something very special in the future. As Spider-man said in Family Guy, everybody gets one!

I do not own My Little Pony or Scrubs, but we've got another hour of soft rock coming up in just a little bit. This is Daga Yemar, your night owl guide on Oldies 102.7.
