HI MY NAME IS ROBIN I AM 17 YRS OLD,I HAVE KIDNEY DIALYSIS 3XS AWEEK.
THIS IS WHAT I DO MYSELF TO GET READY TO HOOK UP TO THE DIALYSIS MACHINE(BY THE WAY I AM THE YOUNGEST ONE IN THIS ROOM THEY ARE ALL ALOT OLDER THAN ME),I HAVE BEEN ON DIALYSIS THIS TIME FOR 7YRS,MY GOAL WITH THIS VIDEO IS TO GET PEOPLE TO PLEASE SIGH THEIR DONOR CARDS.BECAUSE YOU COULD SAVE MY LIFE AND MILLIONS MORE LIKE ME AROUND THE WORLD WHO NEED TRANSPLANTS OF ALL DIFFERENT KINDS.WE ALL COULD LIVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE WITH YOUR HELP BY SIGHING YOUR DONOR CARDS YOU WOULD BE GIVING US THE GIFT OF LIFE.AND YOUR ORGANS WOULD LIVE ON IN THE TRANSPLANT RECIPIENTS SO THERE FOR A PEICE OF YOU WILL BE CHERISHED AS LIFE IT,S SELF.SO PLEASE SIGH YOUR DONOR CARDS.
UNFORTUNATELY I AM ONE OF THE FEW THAT REJECTED A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT 2XS,BUT I AM NOT GIVING UP.I AM AT THIS TIME DOING ALL THE TEST I NEED TO GET ON THE TRANSPLANT LIST AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME.BUT LIKE THEY SAY THE THIRD TIMES THE CHARM.SO PLEASE SIGH YOUR DONOR CARDS.
I DON,T GET TO DO THE NORMAL TEENAGE STUFF LIKE GOING TO DANCES AND PARTIES,I CAN NOT TRAVEL UNLESS IT,S DAY TRIPS.MY DIALYSIS IS DONE AT NIGHT AND I GO TO SCHOOL THROUGH THE DAY. MY LIFE IS LEAD AROUND MY KIDNEY DISEASE AND NOT AROUND WHAT I SHOULD BE ENJOYING AS A TEENAGER.
DON,T GET ME WRONG,I DON,T NEED PITY I AM A VERY HAPPY GIRL,I AM LOVED DEEPLY BY MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.I GET OUT THERE AND RAISE MONEY FOR A LOT OF CHARITIES IN MY COMMUNITY.I DON,T LET IT KEEP ME DOWN I KEEP GOING.
I NEED A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT AND I WILL HAVE ONE SOMEDAY THAT,S WHAT I NEED.
AND WITH YOUR HELP IN SIGHING YOUR DONOR CARDS I AND MILLIONS MORE LIKE ME WILL BE SO GRATEFUL TO YOU.
THANK YOU
ROBIN
