Every year during Anti-Poverty Week, Shelter SA hosts the Homeless Connect: Homelessness, Health and Housing Expo. The day brings together key services that can help people who are struggling with housing. The day is designed to be a positive experience, with music, food, friends and activities.
This year, Shelter SA get in touch with someone who experienced the Expo, and asked them to tell their story. Lisa runs you through her situation before the Expo, her experience at the Expo, and the outcomes she has taken away from the Expo.
If you are an organisation or an individual that would like to get involved with the Expo, please contact us!
If you have been to previous Expos and have stories to tell, write them in the comment box!
But most importantly, if you know someone who could benefit from the Expo, please tell them about it!
