Known as the Crown Prince of the fashion world, throughout his career Marc Jacobs has never been afraid to push the envelope.

America's darling of fashion received the highest honors from Parsons School of Design, and soon after launched his namesake label in 1986. It was while he was Vice President of Women's Design at Perry Ellis that he debuted the grunge-inspired look that became his signature.

The flamboyant designer is both the creative director for Louis Vuitton as well as the designer of his very own line of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.

Louis Vuitton was taken with Marcs strong self assurance and hired him to design their first ready-to-wear line in 1997.

His designs have remained tasteful, classy and sophisticated since the day he began designing haute couture clothing.

His designs have become significantly popular with two types of people: the rich and famous. The world renowned designer has become popular in Hollywood and other highly known fashion districts around the world.
