The Pletenitsa Balkan Choir featuring the Ludo Mlado Folk Dance Ensemble perform "Padna Magla Dilber" and "Marko Kove" live at the Berklee Performance Center on March 3, 2014. This was for the 6th Annual Berklee Middle Eastern Festival: The Music of Armenia directed by Christiane Karam.
The Middle Eastern Festival is a celebrated annual event that brings together artists from the Middle East, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean with students from all over the world, to learn and experience the musical traditions of those regions. This year's edition focused on the Music of Armenia, and also featured a Bulgarian set, from which this clip is derived. The concert featured a host of visiting artists (Sato Moughalian, Kevork Mourad, Zulal, Aleksan Harutyunyan) , the Pletenitsa Balkan Choir, the Berklee Middle Eastern Festival band, as well as the Sayat Nova Dance Group and the Ludo Mlado folk dance ensemble.
