A fellow asked to spread out his busted up Corvette fiberglass in 2 extra spaces at the 1995 Corvettes at Carlisle event. I said "Go ahead, if you don't somebody else will". To be eligible to win the 1975 Corvette Give Away that year, you needed to be present for the 3 PM Sunday drawing. That fellow packed to leave Saturday night. He thanked me for the spaces, shook my hand and gave me his ticket for the free car - and stated "Thanks, I hope you win". And that was the winning ticket. Since he never came back the following year, I never had the opportunity to Thank him. About 2 years ago, the urethane bumpers cracked & began to crumble. I just could not let this lucky charm deteriorate, so the front & rear caps were replaced. Other than them, the remainder of the paint is St Louis GM applied lacquer with the tell tale bonding strip sink marks. A really nice old girl. It is the smoothest shifting Muncie 4 speed I have ever driven. Like a hot knife in butter.
NCRS = No Corvette Restamped Stingrays in my garages. :)
