Michael Vassar, former president of the Singularity Institute thinks that we can do much better with machines than we can with humans, because we're using humans as machines instead of using them as humans.

2 months ago, In a fireside chat, Larry Page said he "totally believe we should be living in a time of abundance, like Peter Diamandis' book." and that less than 1% of the workforce is needed to do everything at the moment.

Can we really can build a beautiful utopia with Google providing all things, and the rest of humanity producing everything?

Can, and should, Google do everything?

This is the topic of our first Emerging Futures, What's Next? series where we'll dive into -
☛ Artificial Intelligence - why is Google inquiring robotics and AI companies like Deep Mind?

☛ Predictive analytic (Google Now) which Michael thinks is very mundane from an AI perspective.

☛ The creation of Google AI ethics board
☛ Calico
☛ The 2 income trap (Elizabeth Warren)

☛ And the big question - So what do we need human for?

Join us and bring 2-3 friends for the ride.
