Basic Tech - Applying New Thermal Paste on a Lelnovo ThinkPad T410

Here's a quck vid of me redoing the Thermal Paste, I originally took off the palmrest to put on some carbon fiber, but I thought, HEY let me just redo the thermal paste while I am at it.
I forgot about the carbon fiber afterward... .-.


The process is very easy to do as you can see in this vid! Keep the laptop running cool, maybe even cooler if you use quality paste, in this case I use Artic Silver 5, just had it recommended and I am happy with its results. In any case, any thermal compound is great unless the OEM had specifically stated they use a high grade compound, it is always good to re-apply the compound to keep your machine running great and cool.
