Sushi has long been a favourite dish in Japan, but arrived in the west several decades ago and has become incredibly popular. Unlike its cousin sashimi, sushi doesn't use raw fish - in this video I use smoked salmon, cooked prawns and canned tuna. These are all safe to eat without any further cooking. Making sushi is actually quite easy, and the results are very tasty. Sushi can be a great finger food for parties and picnics, as well as an easy dish for lunch or dinner.
