I was suprised when I saw Justin at the door. I thought I'd made it pretty clear that I didn't want him to follow me but as always he didn't listen. Truthfully, I've been a mess since I left. I was missing Justin terribly and wanted nothing more than to go back and fix things with him, but I needed to stand my ground this time. By the looks of it, it didn't seem like he was doing too well either. He had bags under his, his face was pale, and his hair was a mess, which it never was.
"Can we have a minute, grandma?" I asked and she nodded, leaving us alone. I stepped outside and joined Justin on the porch. "What are you doing here?"
"I couldn't just sit back and let you leave me like that." I shook my head.
"I told you I needed to leave for a while."
"You shouldn't have to face this on your own."
"I'm not, I'm with my family." This time, he shook his head. I crossed my arms over my chest, confused as to what he was trying to say.
"That's not what I meant, Sel. This is something that you and I should work out together. It's not doing you any good being here, I can tell." With each word that he said, I was cracking.
"If you're here to take me back home then you should just leave. I can't go back there yet."
"I'm not." He smiled and I furrowed my eyebrows. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out two tickets. "We're going to Mexico."
"Are you serious?" He nodded and handed me the tickets so I could look at them.
"It'll be just us. Well and Kenny." I smiled through the tears that were not clouding my vision. "I remember when we went last year and how much you loved it." I couldn't contain myself any longer. I threw my arms around his neck and let my tears spill over.
"You have no idea how much I was missing you. Thank you Justin, this is just what I needed." His grip on my waist got tighter as he buried his face in the crook of my neck.
"Thank Alfredo, he came up with his whole thing. I just came up with Mexico."
"I love you."
"I love you too." He smiled and connected our lips. I was finally home, back in his arms right where I belonged.
"Selena wake up." Someone said, shaking my shoulder. I didn't want to wake up yet. I hadn't got much sleep while I was in Texas and I was seriously tired. All I wanted to do was sleep but someone, whoever it was, wouldn't let me.
"No." I replied, my voice groggy. The person sighed and I felt myself being lifted up. My eyes snapped open since I didn't know who this person was, but I relaxed when I seen Justin's dogtags hanging around his neck.
Right after Justin told me we were going to Mexico I said goodbye to my family and went to the airport getting right on a private jet. Not even 10 minutes after we took off I was asleep. I slept through the whole trip, which was only 3 hours, so I was still tired.
"Justin.." I mumbled. I didn't think he heard me so I grabbed onto his shirt which got his attention. "I'm hungry."
He chuckled softly. "Of course you are. What do you want to eat?"
"McDonalds." I felt Justin sit down and opened my eyes just long enough to see we were in a car. I closed my eyes again, slowly drifting back off. "Don't forget the pickles." Justin's booming laugh was the last thing I remember before I drifted back off to sleep.
So uhm this is the worst thing I've ever written but I have to post it anyways. *sigh* I have some news for ya'll, it's kinda sad. This story will be ending soon at around chapter 70 or 75. It's my first story and I've been writing it for a year so I think it's time to let go. When the ending nears I'll have a vote for a new story so don't worry :) Hope you liked it even though it's crap!
