Purplehed Burn Like The Sun (Official Video)
Remembering Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (a tribute to the former President of India)
Presenting an Inspirational and motivational upbeat Pop song by Purplehed.

Synopsis of Music Video:
A young man who is contemplating on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, heads out for a run. In his mind he visualizes the struggles of two chained imaginary characters that represent Men and Women around. He comes across various people. His mind gives him illusions of an imaginary chain that represents barriers around people, he comes across. The imaginary characters in his mind continue to depict the nature of struggle and the pain people go through. The turmoil in his head keeps on increasing and the person keeps running faster and faster till he gets visions of these people breaking their chains. The journey of breaking these chains is powered by education and karma. Once the shackles are broken, the guy feels liberated and is set to find an ecstasy that he never thought was attainable in destiny. This ecstasy is portrayed through the joyous dance movements of imaginary characters in his mind and his uninhibited run. His body, mind & soul have let go of all chains.

Lyrics:
You and I, are torn apart
Desire, burns in our hearts
Walls of fear, cage our dreams
We'll break these walls, just you and me
Aooooooo, Aoooooooo .....

Away from bars away from chains
Away from lives lived in vain
Where we will be set free
to break all trends and just be

Lets fly away
Let's go make our escape
Let's dream dream dream
Our dreams transcend

Alive and awake,
We'll rise and shine today
And burn like the sun
We'll light the dark away

Way up high, the nerves diffuse
There's no ground, to feel the blues
Beyond the fear, dreams fly free
We'll make them last, just you and me
Aaooooooo, Aaoooooo.

We feel no fear, we feel no pain
We take the fall we rise again
Till we ride an ecstasy
Ecstasy we want we need

We'll find a perfect place
Where troubles fade away
Lets dream dream dream
Our dreams transcend

Alive and awake,

We'll rise and shine today
And burn like the sun, We will light the Dark Away
Burn like the sun
Burn like the sun

Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhur, matey Sangostva Akarmani (Sanskrit Śloka)

Burn like the sun (Repeat)
Light the dark away

Sanskrit Śloka from the Bhagwad Gita – chapter 2 verse 47 –
English Translation: “You can work for it, it is your right but you can not claim your right on the fruits. The fruits of action should not be your motive nor should you be attached to inaction."
