Fox News' one-sided attacks on a California high speed rail project last week was a sure sign of the budget battle beginning between President Barack Obama and the Republicans controlling the US House of Representatives with Fox News playing its partisan role trying to lower public support for this infrastructure investment proposed by President Obama but disfavored by Republicans, as I show in this video.

The clips of Fox News anchor Jon Scott and Fox News reporter William La Jeunesse trashing the proposed high speed train from Madera to Corcoran come from a segment of the program "Happening Now" broadcast February 14, 2011, which I have not found online, but which is similar to a video story posted online at http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/...

The clip of Fox News anchor Jon Scott spinning the story even further the next day comes from a segment of the program "Happening Now" broadcast February 15, 2011, which I have not found online.

The public domain map of the proposed rail system in California comes from the California High Speed Rail Authority page at http://www.cahighspeedrail.ca.gov/upl...

The California High Speed Rail Authority webpage I show with the ridership study is available online at http://www.cahighspeedrail.ca.gov/Rid...
