This is one of those British recipes that many people have heard of, but possibly have never tried because it's rarely seen on café or restaurant menus. It's just a way of using up leftover vegetables from a traditional Sunday lunch. It always features mashed potato, usually cabbage, and any other vegetables you might have lying around. A chunk of bubble as part of your full English breakfast is a marvellous thing.
