Stolen from their myspace... Rootjoose were a surf-rock band from the south coast of Cornwall, England. They had an almost cult following around the UK of dedicated fans who've became addicts of their energy-filled fusion of funk, pop, dance and downright musical dexterity. Reaching sub top 40 positions with releases during 1997 with Avex records, the band 'went it alone' after Avex pulled out of the UK during 1998. After that, Rootjoose remained very active, gigging relentlessly up and down the country. Although remaining without a record deal, the guys released a 'home-grown' EP Money and Time early in 1999, although a new album never materialised.
