Don't let the pleasure of a great motorcycle adventure distract you from how important it is to stay hydrated. Before you know it, wind, sun, and perspiration can lead you dehydration and an unsafe physical and mental riding position.

Hydration Packs like the ones made by "Camelbak" are an excellent way to keep drinking water all day without the inconvenience of having to stop and drink from a water bottle. Before buying, consider these points:

-Different size hydration packs are available allowing you to carry water, as well as have some extra storage space for gloves, hats, passports, or whatever. Just keep in mind when shopping for your pack, once you fill the water bladder at home, much of that storage space will be used up.
-Never put sugary sodas or energy drinks into the water bladder, as it can lead to bacteria growth and/or diarrhea when you continue consuming from it. Use only pure water, or one of the few tablets or powders on the market specifically made for hydration packs.
-Don't buy a cheap one.....they're usually "cheap" for a reason. Buy a high quality hydration pack and keep it for years to come.

Stay hydrated while you're riding, keep your body and mind in top riding condition, and enjoy safely!
