The U.N. labeled the Gaza humanitarian crisis a critical situation, claiming that the Israeli cease-fire breaks are not long enough. The Red Cross accused Israel of impeding rescue workers with dirt roadblocks and refusing to grant the Red Cross access to people in need. Israel issued a statement saying that it works in close cooperation with organizations providing aid to civilians.
