Here's object 12 from A HISTORY OF PITTSBURGH IN 17 OBJECTS! Jackie Ormes was a Pittsburgh-born cartoonist who wrote and drew panels and comic strips for the Pittsburgh Courier. In the late 1940s, she also helped design and make a much cherished doll based on her character named Patty-Jo.
