Falling into the Wall, (c) Old Oak Taiji School, Dec 2011
Falling into the Wall is a fundamental practice of Ruyu-style Taijiquan as developed by Master Chen Qu Kuan of Chia-yi City, Taiwan. The purpose is to loosen up the body and vibrate the qi. It is a very powerful practice for developing integrated body resonance, the soft-body of Taiji. There are 3 phases to this practice: falling into the wall, tucking out of the wall, and standing back up. Take care to execute all three properly. I'm not including much written instruction, so contact me with any questions.
