Madison Police estimate 40,000 people have taken to the streets and hallways in and around the State Capitol on the fourth day of labor protest. The Superintendent in Madison, Wisconsin, the second largest city in the state, decided to close all the public schools Wednesday after more than 40 percent of teachers called in sick. They spent the day marching at the State Capitol against a proposal which could limit their ability to collectively bargain.
