This tutorial is for making a realistic float-able boat on new Ocean Modifier in Blender 2.61.It uses soft body on vertex group plane instead of shrink wrap as it makes boat behavior more natural looking.
One can use Shrinkwrap on ocean object to prevent 'water' from entering 'boat'.
