This is one my favorite artists growing up. This Detroit native started off appearing on guitar sessions with the great production team of Holland-Dozier-Holland, working with The Temptations, Freda Payne, and Stevie Wonder; among others. Appearing on classic albums like Stevie Wonder's "Picture Book" and "Innervisions", it was only a matter of time for Ray Parker, Jr. to expand his horizons and become a recording artist, so he formed the group, "Raydio". Their first single, "Jack & Jill", had peaked to #5 on the R&B charts in 1977, and the hit "You Can't Change That" in 1979 (one of my favorites). Later on, pursuing solo projects throughout the 80's with songs like "A Woman Needs Love", "The Other Woman", "Girls are More Fun", and the megahit theme to "Ghostbusters". From his 1984 album entitled, "Chartbusters", this is "Jamie"...she used to be my girl, too :P enjoy!!!!!
