I've been cooking using the sous vide method for about 3 years, and I think it's a very useful technique. Many people dismiss it as 'boil in the bag', which couldn't be further from the truth. Sous vide is a technique than can give you perfectly cooked meat, fish and vegetables every time. When Nuovoware asked me if I'd like to review their immersion circulator, of course I said yes. It doesn't have Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity, but then, it doesn't need it. I found the controls a bit tricky to use, and the alarm beep is way too quiet. But it's well-made from quality materials and performs very well. I used it to cook some delicious lamb, which you'll see in the video.

To sum up: this is a good-quality immersion circulator with some niggly little faults, none of which are serious enough to be deal-breakers. It's not massively expensive - about £70 in the UK, $53 in the US.
