Protesters converge on Asheville City Hall as tonight's city council meeting gets underway. They're upset about possible plans to build a hotel on a piece of city owned property across from Saint Lawrence Basilica downtown. The McKibbon Group has proposed a hotel, retail space, and new parking deck for the corner lot. The Basilica is pushing for an alternative plan that includes a plaza and park. The city owns the property and it's is expected to decide who to sell it to and which project will move forward. News 13 will have more from inside the meeting tonight at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.Follow Mario on Twitter @MarioBoone
