How to make Aguaschiles:
Ingredients you need: 1-2 cucumber(s) 1/4 sliced onion 1/2lbs of Raw shrimp(grey) / For Cleaner faster alternative: use cooked frozen shimp (pink) Serrano chile (2) Tajin Chile Powder
This is a very simple dish with a great spicey taste!! It's very important that you let the shrimp cook in the lime for a bit. (Yes by letting the shrimp sit in the lime it does cook the shrimp)
It's always best to use enough lime juice (1/4 cup) and a deep enough plate so that the shrimp can cook from top to bottom. It should turn from grey to a white , to a slightly pinkish color.
*** If you want to skip the raw shrimp all together. You can buy a frozen bag of cooked shrimp (pink). The lime will soak in this shrimp and you can eat it much faster.
** Raw Grey Shrimp is the authentic way to make this dish ** PLEASE DO NOT EAT RAW** When I said this shrimp came without a lot of "OTHER GOOD STUFF" I ment the shrimp's poop!!! lol So Beware!!! You need to make sure the shrimp is 110% clean before you eat it! :-)
