At the national Dietitians Association of Australia conference in Adelaide 2011, Dr Peter Williams presented his rap to a rapturous audience. We all agreed that dude this is just food. Here's the full script:
Dietitians love food.
It's the mood of our brood.

Our learning's accrued
And imbued and reviewed
Wisdom we exude
And our patients rescued
With new menus issued:
We're shrewd, they conclude
(but rarely tattooed).

Don't want to delude
Mistakes can protrude
And ideas occlude,
But APDs renewed
And our mentors valued
(Unless we get screwed)
Success won't elude.

On-line now we're viewed
The future's previewed
No longer curfewed
To the hospital glued,
Each gal and each dude
In the media strewed
And fame has ensued.

When advice is issued
We hope we're not sued
Or become too unglued
Or booed or subdued
Or end up miscued.
With word so well hued
Our points are argued.

Sometimes there's a feud
When grants are pursued
And some get tabooed
But we try to include
All our colleagues who'd
Sometimes been rude
But are mostly valued.

I don't want to be crude
So don't be a prude
Hey Jude, this is Food:
It's something you've stewed
Or brewed or just chewed
Sometime it's mildewed.
(We just hope it's not spewed)

Dietitians love food
(And that's the postlude).
