As the user comes within range of the base, her activator begins to vibrate and beep, letting her know that she is near a source of information that can direct her to her destination.
Pressing the button triggers a pre-recorded message at the nearby base.
Welcome to the Garden City Mall.
Confident, she can now begin her shopping experience.
Additional bases are placed strategically throughout the mall, to guide the user to important locations.
Here the user is approaching an ATM machine in order to withdraw cash.
As she nears the machine, her activator picks up the signal from the base unit.
Pressing the first button, she triggers the recorded message.

Pressing the second button, she gets a more detailed recording.
