This is a review for the SIG Sauer P226 chambered for the 9mm para. I won't really talk about specs because you can look them up anywhere; I just want to give you my impression of the firearm so you can be better informed as a consumer.

thanks for the video and good info on this gun! i too live in the GREAT state of california cough*GRRRRRR*cough... lol. i feel ya on the lame 10 round max restrictions... as well as all the other restrictions we have. i recently purchased my first gun about 6 months ago (XD9 sub compact) and love it! 9mm is easy on the wallet as well as a very capable home defense round using HP's. Ive been on the lookout for my next gun purchase and love the way the p226 looks and feels in the hand. This vid is definitely pushing me towards getting one also! Do you know what the difference is from this and the Blackwater P226R version (as in street price and comparable specs)? Too lazy right now to go to the local gunshop. lol

Shot placement trumps caliber every time. A 1911 is a heavy gun, that Sig isn't bad. Get some Hornady 135gr critical duty flex tips and you've got plent of fire power, if they take cover behind a car door no problem. Getting factory used is a good idea.
9mm has plenty of power to kill. But, a .40 or .45 will kill more times then a 9mm. .40 and .45 travel slower so when the bullet hits a person it rips apart bone and organs. 9mm since it travels faster is more likely to travel through and have more penetration power.
In the end it doesn't matter which penetrates better than the other or which one is faster. What does matter is that with either one, shot point blank or a little farther, stands a very high possibility of killing someone. That being said, what it boils down to is personnal preference and accuracy. It's really sickening to see this 9mm vs whatever d--k measuring contest. If one likes a firearm and can accurately use said firearm then it DOES NOT MATTER.

correction 9mm is more likely to kill. its a faster round and over penetrates no  matter if a slower 45acp round is a fraction bigger 9mm is by far more fatal im still blown away that this idea of 40 or 45 being superior to 9mm research it
